Varsha Ritu

Consume / सेवन करें

  • Sweet, sour, and salty flavors to balance Vata.
  • Bitter and astringent flavors for moisture control.
  • Curd, wheat, black gram (urad), and warm foods.
  • Meat of wild animals (जंगली जीवों का माँस).

Avoid / क्या न करें

  • Sitting in the eastern wind (Purvaiya).
  • Getting drenched in rain or staying in the sun.
  • Sleeping during the day and dry substances.
  • Excessive exposure to dew (ओस).

Autumn Season / शरद ऋतु

Sharad Ritu

Consume / सेवन करें

  • Ghee, milk, and sweet/bitter flavors.
  • Cool, light foods like sugar, sugarcane, and moong.
  • Wheat, barley, rice, and sandalwood paste.
  • Enjoy moonlight and lake activities (सरोवर क्रीडा).

Avoid / क्या न करें

  • Curd, ice, and excessive exercise.
  • Sour, sharp (pungent), and hot foods.
  • Day sleeping and direct sunlight exposure.

Winter Season / शिशिर-हेमंत

Shishir / Hemant

Consume / सेवन करें

  • Sour, sweet, and salty flavors in the morning.
  • Oil massage (Abhyanga) is highly recommended.
  • New grains, wheat, rice, black gram, and sweets.
  • Warm water for bathing; wear heavy/warm clothes.
