नाम एवं पर्याय: केतक, सूचिकापुष्प, जम्बुक, क्रकचच्छद और स्वर्णकेतकी — ये केतकी के विभिन्न नाम (पर्याय) हैं.

केतक के गुण: केतक स्वाद में तीखा, स्वादु (मीठा), पचने में हल्का और कड़वा होता है. यह कफ दोष का नाश करने वाला होता है.
हेमकेतकी (स्वर्णकेतकी) के गुण: हेमकेतकी तासीर में गर्म , स्वाद में तिक्त रस वाली तथा आँखों के लिए हितकारी जानी जाती है.
